Important Announcement from Bishop Golka & Fr. Jason
Bishop Golka, Fr. Jason and Sheila Whalen, Superintendent of the Diocese of Colorado Springs Catholic Schools, met in-person on December 5th, with teachers, staff, councils and parents to make the heartbreaking announcement that Divine Redeemer School will close at the end of this academic school year, May 2025. Please read the attached letters from Bishop and Fr. Jason with the formal announcements.
Join us at Masses this weekend, Saturday, December 7th at 5pm and on Sunday, December 8th at 8a and 11a with Bishop Golka. Please keep Divine Redeemer in your prayers.

Divine Redeemer will be on a two hour delay tomorrow, November 6, 2024. The doors to the school will open at 9:15AM. School will begin at 9:45AM. Morning Extended Care will open at 8:30AM. There is no half day preschool. Stay safe and warm!
Many saints visited DR yesterday to go to classes with our future saints.
Mr. Lang, one of the second grade parents, came to share his knowledge of landforms including Pangea and mountain formation with the second grade class. Thank you so much for sharing your time and talents!!
All Saints' Day Mass with St. Mary's was a great way to end the week! Some of our alumni also visited with our middle school.
Our students did wonderful saint reports and activities this week in honor of All Saints' Day.

It was a wonderful and creative day! 6/7 grade were drafting their ChiRho mosaics in the study of Christianity during the Roman Empire and 5th grade were working on their Priesthood Appreciation posters.
